Rosh Hashana Jewelry Campaign

The Rosh Hashana table already has its own visual language: apple in honey, pomegranate, beet, the head of a fish. Each one carries a blessing for the year ahead. I wanted to take these simanim off the plate and turn them into sculpture.

Each fruit is cut into a clean geometric block and stacked like a pedestal, so raw, juicy texture meets hard architectural lines. The jewelry sits on them the way it would sit on a display stand. A ring is set into the apple’s stem, earrings bloom out of the pomegranate seeds, a pearl hangs against the beet, and a diamond chain wraps around the fish head. A quiet grey-blue backdrop gives everything a gallery stillness and lets the color of the food carry the frame.
